From equipment requests to controlled briefs
The early Mazak Global workflow focused on transforming loose machine-tool inquiries into complete RFQ briefs. Buyers were sending partial model names, maintenance notes, photos of worn components and urgent delivery requests. The team created a repeatable intake method so every inquiry could be translated into machine model, application, required evidence and delivery risk.

Supplier and distributor coordination
As the program expanded, the work moved beyond one-off sourcing. Mazak Global began coordinating supplier availability, distributor communication and alternate paths for tooling, equipment, spare items and service-sensitive requests. The emphasis stayed practical: make the buyer's decision easier by showing what is available, what is constrained and what needs approval.
Now
Cross-process supply planning
Today the company supports CNC, laser, tooling, machinery, inspection and replenishment lanes as one integrated supply record. The result is a more reliable handoff from RFQ to purchase order to receiving. Each program can carry notes for machine fit, process assumptions, certificates, packaging, dispatch and repeat replenishment.
